Morning routine

It's very routine in our house for Mike to leave at 5 for work, Maddie to stumble in my room around 6-6:30.  She will snuggle for a little bit and then play on my phone, while I attempt to keep my eyes shut a little longer.  Then around 7:00 the others stumble in (including Annie).  This is all the kids favorite time of day with Annie…..when she is sleepy and cuddly.  They all fight over her in the morning!!

Here's your sign….

Here's one sign of a good, summer day.  notice the rain on the windows….told ya it's been raining everyday!!!

Working Hard??

All three kids are taking gymnastics on Monday nights.  It's kind of nice, a one stop shop.  They can all go at the same time.  They all like it, but Jack and Maddie especially LOVE it…..although you wouldn't know it by this picture I snapped.  Doesn't look like Jack is working too hard, huh??

Rain, Rain….GO AWAY!!!

Unbelievable!!!  THIS RAIN CAN KISS IT!!!  We've had many softball and baseball games rained out, too many to even count or know.  We've had plenty of swim meets in the pouring down rain, plenty of cold and raining swim practices, deck furniture pushed to the side for over a month now while we wait for a dry day to stain the deck…..plenty of good bonding time inside!  We are OVER IT!!!!

It started out fun, but quickly became OLD!

Wont be any ballgames played there for a while!

Father's Day

Father's Day came and went.  Mike worked, as usual and then we did some work outside.  Maddie had made Mike a Father's Day gift in school and she kept it in a safe spot until Father's Day.  She was super pumped to give it to him!!!  That night we had our "fancy dinner" in the dining room and had some streak.  Happy Father's Day to all the Dads in our life….we've got some good ones!

Maddie gymnastics Show Day

Maddie had her show day at the end of her gymnastics semester…..oh, way back in May.  This last semester they let her move up to big kid gymnastics, no longer mommy and me.  It was a sad day…..I'm no longer needed from any of my children.  They are all independent and big, and I sit behind the glass and watch.  But I'm very proud of her…..she does a good job and loves it!!!

Ole Snaggle Tooth #2

Peyton struggled getting the same tooth out and looked the same way….infact, I think if I had the time to look back through posts I could find a very similar picture of her.  We couldn't wait for this thing to come out…..it took FOREVER!!!!  But it finally came out…..we no longer had to look at this…..
