My Weekly Memes

And I'll leave you with these for the night......my weekly memes that I have found humor in.....

Drive Thru Birthday Parties

Maddie has been invited to and attended two drive thru birthday parties (parades) so far.  Since these poor little kids can't have birthday parties and/or be with their friends on their birthdays, they been getting love by parades from all their friends.  I thought I took a picture of the first one, but I guess I didn't.  The first one was Caroline VanCleave's birthday (a school and family friend) and the latest one that we did yesterday was Kendall, a gymnastics friend.  They've been super fun, and Maddie has even said, "if quarantine is over by July, I kind of still want a parade for my birthday!"  Guess she thinks it looks pretty fun!!!  HA!

Let me just tell you.....

That these dip nail do NOT come off easily at all!!!!  Even when you TRY to use the same method they use at the nail shop.  TOTAL FAIL!!  It is now 5 days after this picture was taken, and I finally have all but one nail off......UGH!!!!!

Top Notch Support System

The days are LOOOOONG......and all in all everyone is holding up just fine, a lot better than I would have thought, actually.  But the days are long, the weeks are long, and unfortunately I'm sure we have a couple more months of this.  But I tell you what, we've got the best friends and support system out there!!!  We have been greatly blessed by some of the best!!!  #ourfriendsarebetterthanyours
Amongst all the bad right now, there's still SO MUCH GOOD!
Some of the kind gestures are good friends have been up to.....

The Radil's delivered a "hearts for healthcare workers" to our front door.

From the Brueggenjohanns.....

Maddie's new youtube taught hobby

Maddie has been working hard the last couple weeks learning EVERY trick with the cat's cradle.  She has watched all the YouTubes on it and she has learned every one!!!  And they are HARD!!!!.....but she's mastered them!  Some of them are: Jacob's ladder, Eiffel Tower, Open the Gate (and many, many more, but those seem to be her favorites)!

It has kept her busy for hours and hours!!!!

Maddie teaches Jack how to make brownies

Jack wanted some brownies the other day, so I told him, "that's fine, go make them."  He claimed he didn't know how, so Maddie quickly offered to teach him.  He took her up on the offer.  I heard his friend that he was face timing with say, "um, your LITTLE sister is going to teach you?!?!"  Jack said, "yeah, I don't know how....she's a girl and I'm a boy."  HA!!

So they got in the kitchen and they did it from top to bottom all by themselves, Maddie showed him the way......

Homeschooling makes these kids.......

HUNGRY!!!!  I could've went a lot of different directions with that open ended statement, but I'll go with hungry!!!  They never stop eating!!!

How about this snack bowl the other day?  Jack had it to himself for a little bit, and then I guess he decided to share.....
