Peyton + Snow Cones

Other than chocolate, I would say Peyton's favorite treat is a snow cone.  Well, today was her lucky day.  The kids got to enjoy a snow cone at the park.  Think she enjoyed that BLUE snow cone?!?!

Jack and Ella at Six Flags

On Peyton's last day of school she was going with a friend after school.  Mike had the day off work so we took Jack and Ella (Maddie too) to Six Flags.  They had a great time!!  They like all the same rides which works out quite nicely.  Ella is a better Six Flags partner to Jack than Peyton.

After Peyton's playdate she got dropped of at the Alexander's since we were still at Six Flags.  Liz then took Maggie and Peyton to get their nails done.  I'd say all the kids had a great day!  Jack was in his glory to have his friend with him at Six Flags and Peyton was feeling mighty fine herself as she was being pampered with her "BFF".

St. Peter Dash

Yesterday was our first time "competing" in the St. Peter Dash (5k).  I don't know if people were too intimidated by us.  Mike pushed the double jogger and I pushed the single.  We might not have won, but we did get a good workout.
It was raining steady for the entire race.  Maddie and Jack stayed pretty dry, as they stayed under the canopy of the stroller with a blanket over their legs.  Peyton, on the other hand was pretty wet, as she was constantly in and out of the stroller.  She would run for a bit and then get back in, then run for a bit and get back in.......

Following the 5k, they had some good food and drinks, and then once all the 5K participants had finished they did a "fun dash" for the kids.  It's a 4th of a mile run.  The kids had a great time!!!

St. Joseph has been buried....

Jack and I buried Saint Joseph the other day.  Come on St. Joseph......bring that special buyer our way!!!

First family truck ride....

HA!!  The first time we have used Mike's truck as the "family" car.  We took the kids and their bikes up to the park this morning, and it's just way easier to throw all of it in the back of Mike's truck instead of puzzling it all into the van.  Three happy kids ready to do some playing.....Happy Sunday!
