Last Naturals Tournament

 Well, the Naturals had their last tournament for their spring/summer 2021 season.  These boys have been nothing short of amazing this season.  They went 46-11-1 with 7 AAA tournament championships.  Such a fun year and will be a hard year to repeat.  Jack personally had a heck of a season as well.  His season long batting average was .421, on base percentage .530....he did a great job in the lead off spot this year.  The parents, the boys, the siblings, the talent....all of it....just a great group!  The core of this team have been together for 5 years, that doesn't happen much in youth sports and when it does, it's special! 

It was an emotional night at the ballpark.  It was fun to win the championship and then it quickly got sad, as the boys said goodbye to two great teammates.  Two boys decided to move on after this season, and the boys were all very sad as they said their goodbyes.  They are all great buds, and that is hard!!  Lots of sad adults too!!  

One heck of a year Nats!  Congrats boys!

Every Once in a While......

 A rare occasions, but sometimes they do still love each other......and have quiet moments together....and even fall asleep.....

Maddie Turns 9!!!

 On her actual birthday she wanted to go to Olive Garden for dinner.....so off we went!!!  Following dinner, we went home and opened presents.  Is anyone surprised that she received a LOAD of new fidgets for her birthday?!?!?!  And do we think she was happy?!?!?

Last year of single digits!  She has partied hard for 2 days!!  Hard worker, determined, soft hearted, fidget lover, earliest riser in our house, grilled cheese fan, social butterfly, trampoline jumper, and a "brush your teeth" hater.....hopefully she grows into that one soon!

Maddie and Molly's 9th Birthday Party

 Maddie and Molly.....still two peas in a pod....and lucky for us their birthdays are so close that we can keep having joint birthday parties!!!  This year they did a tent/pool party at the McAlone's.  It was adorable.  A few of the girls were going to stay the night in the tent.  I left the party about 11:00, and had a strong feeling they girls were not going to sleep in the tent.  Angie confirmed, they did not make it in the tent.  HA!!  It was cute tho, and they got to spend some time in it during the day and at night during the party.  The partied hard....they always do!!!

Tennis All-Club for Peyton

 Peyton finished her last match against Emmy for the All-Club championship.  Emmy beat her 6-4, but Peyton was happy with her comeback.  She said she went down hard and fast and climbed her way back up, but not quite enough.  They were red-faced, hot, sweaty, and ready to be finished I think!  

Maddie, My Little Golfer

 Maddie and I had a free Tuesday night, I can't remember where everyone else was, so I asked her what she wanted to do and she said golf.  It was a beautiful night!  I think we snuck in about 5 holes.  She's really started liking golf a lot more this summer.....and she's actually gotten pretty decent!
