Birthday Celebration Continues

Happy 40^th!! My tennis buddy, Liz…and I turned 40 just a week apart. So our tennis group threw a little birthday afternoon celebration for us. Good times, and super grateful for my tennis peeps!!

Jack's Last CYC Basketball Game

Jack played one last CYC basketball tournament and came out on top. It was a tough championship game but they got it done. He had to leave cotilion early to get there in time to play. The coaches had came from cotillion as well, so they looked very “official” in their sport jackets and ties. Fun last hoorah!

Jack's Final Cotillion

For Jack's final cotillion , he had 14 min to shower from baseball and walk out the door. Somehow he made it happen, even being the worlds slowest get readier!!!! SOOOO SLOOOOOW!!!

The kids had a nice dinner in one room, while the parents had a happy hour in the other room. Once the kids were finished eating and using all their new manners they have learned (ha!), they cleared the tables and got the dance floor ready. The kids danced and moved and grooved and showed off all their new moves. It was pretty fun. Jack and a few of the boys had to cut out early to head to the final of a CYC basketball tournament.

Good times! Cannot wait to start heading to wedding receptions with these guys, they like to boogie!

This is 40!!!

For my 40th:

Pharmacy

carwash for the MINIVAN

grocery store

laundry

baseball tournament

cotillion

basketball tournament final

I mean, nothing screams 40 more than that, right?? The Nats did at least get a tournament victory, as did the StP basketball team. Mike and I also squeaked in a quick trip to Mexico the week before.

All in all, wouldn't have it any other way!!!

State Basketball

When your bestie and an old teammate is in a run for state, you go and support. It was fun to see many familiar faces on the court or on the sidelines!
