Jack Skip Day

Well, my kids are always keep score.....and since Peyton got to skip a day of school with her soccer friends, then that meant that Jack should get to skip a day of school too, right??

So, he did......

He chose to have a slow morning at home with his X-Box, lunch at Westborough, golf, then ice cream.  The day went fast and before we knew it, it was time to pick up the other kids from school.  The weather could have been a little warmer, but other than that we had a good day!!  I guess, my golf game could have been a little better too.....Jack was pretty good tho!

5th Grade Field Trip To Busch

Peyton's class went to Busch Stadium for their field trip this year and it was pretty awesome.  They got to take a tour, visit the museum at Ball Park Village, and do some fun activities in other various rooms.

Holding Molina's bat at the museum......

She went for Yadi, so I went for Ozzie......

Trying on a World Series ring.....

I told her we better get a picture of her in the green seats cause it's probably the only time she will sit there.....

Here they watched a play (on mute) and then they had a couple minutes to write down how they would call it if they were the broadcaster.  They then got to volunteer to take the mic and make their call.  The kids actually did a really good job, and were pretty brave too!!

Incase there was still any doubt

Just in CASE you still had doubt about Maddie's WWE loving......

I have the kids' electronic devices set up so that it send me an alert if they want to download a new app, and then I have to OK it for it to download.  Here came the most recent one from Maddie!!  HA!!

Peyton turning into a pre-teen

There is actually more than just her attitude that points us to believe that she is indeed a pre-teen.  She's into make-up, she has pimples, she wants a lot of privacy and to be left alone a lot more, she wants every social media app there is.....and I could go on and on.

Kristen and Tony gave her a make-up tutoring session at ULTA for Christmas, and she was thrilled to go use it and buy some.  She had fun!!

FINALLY.....a nice day!!!

We finally had a nice day and it's mid-April.....mother nature has not been nice to us this year!!  So Maddie took full advantage.

Notice, she is still sporting her WWE shirt.....girl LOVES it!!!  A little girl did ask her at the park, "why you have that on your shirt???"  HA!!!

Even our dogs like to GO!!!

Think they are saying, "pretty please?!?"

Play Ball!!!

Opening night for the Naturals.  Bring on lots of late nights, and lots of crappy dinners because of the late nights.....

A soccer tournament cancelled in April because of SNOW!!!!!

Peyton's soccer team was suppose to go to KC the first weekend of April for a tournament and they canceled it due to the forecast calling for snow on Friday AND Sunday.  UGH....snow in April....no thanks!!!!

When I picked Peyton up at school on Thursday and told her the news....you can tell, she was LESS than thrilled!!!!

Some of the soccer girls still skipped school Friday and met for lunch and mall shopping.  Still wasn't quite as good as being out of town for a tournament, but at least it was a little something....

A Monday off school.....

The kids had off school the Monday after Easter and of course they wanted to go to SkyZone....their most favorite place, and my least favorite place.  Every time we come out of there without a broken bone, I count my blessings one more time.

Peyton loves to front and back flip the entire time.  Maddie likes to do it all (jump, obstacle course, basketball, rock climbing wall), and Jack spends 99% of his time playing dodge ball.

We had Jacob with us too, since it was Monday.....I think he was totally overstimulated!!  :)

I guess I didn't get any pictures of Peyton flipping around.  Probably cause she kept want mt to take videos of it instead....so I have lots of videos, but no pictures.....

Living Room Stunts.....

Maddie just having a little fun.....

A Lazy Saturday....

I don't know who enjoyed our slow start Saturday more.....the dogs or Jack??

Maddie and her WWE

Maddie is LOVING her some WWE wrestling!!  She knows all the wrestlers, she knows all their walk-out songs, she knows all their moves, she knows it all.......I, know NOTHING!!!!  Mike, Jack and Maddie sit and watch and cheer and carry on and Peyton and I are over here, like, seriously?!?!?  We don't get it.....

Mike had tickets to take Maddie and Jack to Monday Night RAW when it came to St. Louis but the kids didn't know it.  So he ordered Maddie a shirt to wear and when it came in the mail.....well you can look at the pictures....pure joy for this girl!!!

CYC Championship Chess Tournament

Jack qualified for the CYC championship chess tournament, and he had a blast and came away a winner.  This boys chess playing amazes me.  I don't even know how to setup a chess board.....and this boy knows all the moves....and genuinely loves it.  REALLY loves it!
He won the 3rd and 4th grade division individually, and the St. Peter 3 and 4 grade team won the team category too!  It was a fun day for these chess-loving kids!!!

Maddie's half day playdates

Maddie LOVES her social calendar.....which means she fills up all her half days with playdates with friends, as much as possible.  She loves to be on the go....loves to socialize!!!  This day, she had planned lunch and the Magic House for the 3 amigos.

Do you think she's having any fun?!?!

Melting Pot for the vegans.....

YES PLEASE!!!  Mom has now given the vegan world a go for about 8 months or so, so we treated everyone to a night at the Melting Pot.  The Melting Pot now has vegan cheese and chocolate.....and is oh so good!!!!!
It was a fun night of cooking fondue and catching up.....

We left Peyton in charge to hold down the fort at home.  When we looked at them on the cameras, they were watching RAW and having some ice cream.
