Bye Bye Masks.....

Well the day has come that St. Peter and St. Joe both decided they'd give school a try without masks.  First day since the beginning of the pandemic that all three went to school without a mask.  Two of my kids couldn't care less, make or no mask, they are good.  The other one has moaned and groaned EVERY single day about it.....guess which one couldn't wait to go into school today mask free?!?!?!

Snowmageddon Aftermath

Well.....once we finally made it to the store at the snow storm.....we pretty much left empty handed....all the shelves looked like this.......

Snowmageddon 2022

 SO.MUCH.SNOW!

Finally on the second day we busted out and made it to Westborough to do a little sledding. But we not only had all the snow, it was also INCREDIBLY cold, so you couldn't stay out too long.  AND, there was so much snow it was a workout to walk around in it too much.  But we managed to have fun.....Maddie and I.

Annie and Gus.....the Best....

 and the laziest!!

Jack Cotillion

Jack had his first cotillion.....so we got him all showered and dressed up and ready to go.  On the way there he heard me talking to another mom on the phone about it and when I hung up, he said, "wait, this was optional?  I didn't HAVE to do this?"  I said, "well it was optional, but not for you."  HA!

But when I picked him up, he was on cloud 9.  Happy, sweaty, talkative.....HE LOVED IT!!!  I got many texts from the chaperone parents and everyone said Jack was the best dancer and was having a blast!  Love it!  He looked like he came out of a good wedding reception.  HA!

Jack's High School Letter Day

He's known for a long time that SLUH was where he wanted to go.  He toured once in seventh grade and shadowed at the beginning of 8th grade and loved both days.  Loved them so much that he didn't even want to shadow another school.  For a little bit I thought we should MAKE him shadow another school just so he at least had something to compare it to, but then I was like, WHY?  Why make it harder than it needs to be, and I personally think SLUH was the best fit for Jack as well......

SOOOOO......letter day came, and the SLUH sign appeared in the yard and the acceptance letter came to the email.  SLUH class of 2026!

Maddie made him his SLUH cake.....chocolate, Jack's favorite!  It was a good day!

A Weekend of STP Basketball

From one court to the next.....but always fun!

Maddie and Friends

Maddie LOVES to be with her friends.....if they aren't together in person, they are together on FaceTime.....ALL THE TIME!!!

Dewey's Pizza Night

Dewey's will see you their dough, cheese, and sauce if you'd rather make your pizza at home.  So we opted for that.  Maddie loved it, and we are all pretty darn impressed with Mike's spinning of the dough skills.....I thought I had a picture of it, but I can't find it.

Family Sledding

Well, by the time we all got home from games and practices, the sledding hill had already been hit hard and was down to icy mud.....but we made the best of it.  Peyton went against her will and was a ball of fun!!  HA!
