Fourth of July at the Lake

 Always so much fun, but this year EXTRA fun!!  The kids LOVED every part of it.  They enjoyed all the water sports, the company, just everything!  It rained on us everyday, like poured on us everyday, but we didn't let it ruin our fun.  We waited it out each day, and it worked out just fine!!  

Jack had the best year ever!  LOVED the tube, the crazier the better (this was SO not Jack in the past), loved water skiing and was loving going in and out of the wake.  He just enjoyed it all!!  Peyton could not get up on skis, or not for very long, but she did wake board and of course LOVED the craziness of the tube.  I have to turn my head, it makes me nervous and I'm afraid they are going to get hurt.  Maddie loved the knee board, couldn't quite get her up on skis for very long, and the tube grew on her as the weekend went on.  

This is the first year with the mess hall, and it worked out quite nicely too.  The fireworks was decent show as well.  

This picture of Gus makes me laugh so hard.  I was getting ready to pack the car up to leave, and he definitely sensed something was going on.....and he was NOT going to get left behind, he made darn sure of that!!!

Jack's First Trout Fishing

 Gabriel talked his mom into waking up at the butt crack of dawn to take the boys trout fishing.  The boys spent the night at the Riggio's so that they could get up nice and early and hit the road.....the girls stayed at our house.  I think Mrs. Riggio got the short end of the stick!!  The boys had a blast, an absolute blast and are asking to go back.  

The girls ended up having a day at the pool, and they had fun too!!  We were originally all going to go to Meramec Springs and then at the last minute we offered the girls to stay and swim or go with he boys.  They opted to stay, and I think it was probably a good choice.  

Baseball Team Fun

 This group is a good group.  Great families, great people, great friends.  From pool parties, to baseball siblings sleepovers, to bloody mary bars pre-game.....it's all fun when you find the right people!
