First Communion Class Celebration

St. Peter has a tradition that the Monday after the kids' First Communion, the second graders do not have school that day, instead they all meet at church for 8:00am Mass, attend mass together, and then head to the park for the pancake man and a morning full of fun at the park with their peers.  They all had a fun-filled morning at the park and then Lydia and Molly came back to our house to play and finish the day off. The weather ended up being perfect......so perfect that they decided to turn the sprinkler on for the trampoline.......it was a great day!

Back to Back Tournament Champs

Another good weekend for the Naturals!  I had to stay back with the girls and run them to all their "things," but it was fun listening on GameChanger......beating the Titans 5-0 in the championship.

Maddie and I listening to GameChanger at dinner and celebrating once they won.

Maddie First Communion

April 24, 2021......Maddie received her First Communion.  Due to COVID, only parents could attend mass, everyone else had to live stream it and watch it on TV.  Once mass was over, we came home and had a party with family and the Brueggenjohanns.

Naturally, the day was windy and rainy......I mean, would it really be a First Communion if it didn't rain???  I do think Jack had a nice day for his, but I'm pretty sure it rained on Peyton's as well.  Maddie enjoyed her party.......she received lots of money, a rosary made by mom, a hand drawn picture of her in her dress, and fidgets!  The girl is wild for fidgets.....ha!

Jack had a baseball game down in St. Genevieve, so we live streamed that on the TV at the party as well......Good Day!!

The Thunder Returns!

Jack still LOVES to play rec ball with his school buddies.  What he loves most is being with his friends, low to no pressure, and that he gets to pitch.  It is bad, bad baseball.....but he still says it's fun.  So we will continue to go.  The boy does LOVE to pitch!

1st Tournament Win of the Season for the Nats

While Grandma, Peyton, and I were in Tulsa the rest of the family was holding down the fort and playing baseball. Gamechanger was awesome for our car ride home, we could listen to the Naturals games as we trucked down the highway.

The Naturals finished the weekend 4-0, not allowing a single run against them.  Good weekend of baseball!

The trophy was a bottle of champaign to celebrate with.....so funny!!

SLSG to Tulsa

This is Peyton's "trap" season for soccer.  Half of her team is in high school so they are playing high school soccer.....so they combined two teams together for the spring season.  She loves the new girls and the new coach.

They headed to Tulsa, played some good soccer, but on some super slick/muddy fields.  Grandma Farm met us along highway 44 and we took her with us.  It was COLD and wet out there!!  Peyton's back started hurting her again halfway through the second to last game.  She tried to push through and play the last game, and just couldn't.....she was not happy.  Out she sits for another 4-6 weeks to see if she can get better again!!  So frustrating!!!

Lap Dog

Quite the lap dog.....he will squeeze himself in any space possible to be where he wants to be.  This night, it was in my lawn chair with me at Jack's baseball game.....
