The Dickinson kids spent a lot of time with us at the pool this summer. My kids always wanted to invite them, and Ellen was always ready to say, yes! She was very grateful to have somewhere for them to go, as her and Noah were both still working from home everyday.
The pool deck had to be sanitized every two hours all summer long. So after two hours of swimming, the kids had to get out and everyone had to clear the pool deck while they sanitized. It is like the annoying "adult swim" when I was a kid (by the way, that no longer exists, or at least at our pool it doesn't), but maybe even worse.
Here they are having some ice cream while waiting for the sanitizing to get over....
