Last swim meet

Unlike her brother.....Maddie LOVED swim team and she left it all in the pool....couldn't even make it home tonight after the last meet.  Jack might not be returning next year, but she sure is!

Jack's last swim practice

Oh, happy day for Jack!!  He has always HATED swim team....our rule was always that he had to do it until he turned 10.  He will turn 10, two weeks BEFORE swim practice starts next year.  He is one happy boy!!!

Purina Suite at the Cards Game = pretty SWEET!!

A friend that works for Purina invited us to the game to sit in their suite with a group of our friends.  It was nothing short of amazing!  Great view, awesome food, dessert, and drinks!!!  The kids will not want to go to a game any other way now......we've ruined them!!!  To top it off, they made it onto the jumbotron also!!
Mike and Sarah were in town too, staying at our house and their seats to the game ended up being right under us....crazy!!!  A guy next to them ended up throwing up smelling up their seats....so they came up and joined us.  :)

There they are on the jumbotron....

When the dessert cart rolled in....nobody was watching the game at this point....

A little YMCA action in their seats.....

And she's DONE!!

The younger siblings weren't as "in" to the game as the older kids....by about the 7th inning (about when their stomachs couldn't hold any more food!) they hit the electronic corner.....

Father's Day

Spent Father's Day doing what the KIDS enjoy....because that's (usually) the kind of Dad he is....one that puts his kids and wife ahead of himself.  SO......off to spend the day at Sky Zone and then swimming to finish the evening....

She made it to the TOP.....

Mike finally talked Jack into going off the high dive....now he is hooked!!

The outdoor and dog lover......

Maddie wins the title!  This girls LOVES her dogs and LOVES to be outside!

Jack's haircut gone bad

I've always cut Mike and Jack's hair.  Mike usually gets pretty impatient after he says they need haircuts and I usually push it off a couple days.  He got extremely impatient over the summer and decided to take matters into his own hands.....I don't think Jack will ever allow that again!  Mike messed his hair up badly enough that they had to end in a buzz cut.  Jack HATED it and first, but then I do think it grew on him a little bit.  I think he ended up thinking it was ok, but certainly never asked for a buzz again.

It happened over a weekend and he wore a hat all weekend.  Then Monday morning rolled along and he was attended a boys, backyard camp.  He was frantically looking for his hat, as he was embarrassed to show his friends.  I told him, forget the hat.....this is your new do for a while, so you gotta show it and own it!!!!  So he did.....and moved on......

He thought he should get a chance of cutting his dad's hair, I told him that sounded fair to me....his Dad didn't think so......it never happened.....

POST OVERLOAD

I'm hoping to post a TON in hopes of catching up since this summer.....a bunch of brief posts, and then hopefully back on track for the new year!!!  My intentions are always there, but time usually isn't on my side!!!
