And what a fun one it was!!! He was playing in Pacific and hit his first homerun over the centerfield fence. The only thing that could make it more memorable was he hit the windshield of the car that was parked in dead centerfield.....and the owner of the car was sitting in it!!!! Jack was all smiles when he crossed home plate and was greeted by his teammates that were all super pumped for him.
After the game, Grandma Jeanne and Jack snuck over there and took a quick, side angle picture, next to the windshield. Later, Rogers came over and asked us if Jack wanted a picture with the windshield because it was his buddies car.....um, no thanks, Grandma already did that.....HA!!!
A fun memory for Jack!!!
