As I stated a couple weeks ago, Mike's brother got married on October 20. Both kids were in the wedding and Mike too. That being said, it was a BUSY day for the Momma. It was a fun day....but there was lots of strategic planning, being that I am still nursing Maddie. It's not easy to find a place to nurse a baby when you have to undress to do it. If you have not ever dress shopped for a dress that is "nursing friendly" there is not much in the market.
Kristen looked great, Tony looked great, and most importantly they both looked happy. So here's to them for a long, happy, healthy marriage!
Mike took the big kids that morning and left. He dropped Peyton off at Grandma Jeanne's to go with the "big" girls to get there hair done. Peyton, I'm sure felt like quite the princess. She, I'm sure, thought it was her "big" day! Mike took Jack with him to Tony's where they got dressed and played lots of Wii, I think.
The church was good, both kids walked down fine and they brought the gifts up fine too. I was a little scared Jack will trip with the wine or something...ha! But all went off just fine!
The kids danced their little hearts out at the reception. Maddie and I left after the first few songs, as she wasn't too keen on the noise level. Mike stayed with the Peyton and Jack for a while longer until they pooped out. Peyton did lots of twirling in her fancy dress!
I didn't get many photos as I was a little occupied, but here are some that I did get.
