Karim told Maddie that he thought she was ready for inner-club if she wanted to. She debated and was doubting herself.....and was so stressed out making up her mind if she wanted to give it a go or not. Once she heard Harrison (a boy she plays with a lot and they are one similar levels, and he also happens to be the son of my tennis partner) was going to play, she decided she would also.
The entire way there, she was sooooo nervous!!! She was really afraid of double faulting too much. I told her it was nothing to be nervous about. Just get out there and play and have fun!!
Once she got there, she settled in and did such a good job and had a TON of fun! She won every match and only double faulted one time! I think it's safe to say we will be seeing her out there more.
