The Naturals Head to The Lake of the Ozarks.....

We started the weekend with Mike having to speak at a conference.  So the kids and I had to head out of the hotel room bright and early so that he could have the room to have his conference.  We walked around the entire resort trying to find something that was open.  It was a rainy day to top things off.  We finally found an indoor pool that was suppose to have a hot tub.....so we were excited.  We headed up this STEAP hill to find the indoor pool.  Found it!!!  And found out that the hot tub only had about 4 inches of water in it.....we were NOT happy!!

Business on the top, party on the bottom.  Ready for his conference.....

The HOT TUB.....total bust!!!!  UGH!!!!

The conference got over and then we hung out at the pool bar for a while, letting a huge storm pass.  Once it finally all passed, we headed out to the lake and rented a boat and had some fun.  The kids tubed and I had to show all then youngins that I could actually water ski.  I don't think they fully believed it......we then headed back to the resort, had dinner, and called it a night.  The boys found some young girls (SALLY and MOLLY) that entertained them most of the weekend.  The girls had a golf cart and those boys spent plenty of time on Sally and Molly's golf cart.  Sally and Molly became the talk of the weekend.  It was hilarious!  The only picture I got of Sally and Molly was that blurry picture of the boys loaded on their golf cart flying by!!!

The next day we all hung at the pool for most of the morning and afternoon and then the boys had a game that night.  The game ended up being a homerun derby for us.  It was a wooden bat tournament, but we played a team that didn't have much for pitching, and our boys just tee-ed off!  After the game we headed for some Mexican food and then back to the hotel and bed, as the boys had a game the next morning.

The next day (Saturday) we played early and then had the rest of the day at the resort.  We had another homerun derby game!  Everyone enjoyed themselves plenty at the pool that day and night!

The next day the boys had an early game and then would just keep playing until they lost.  So we had to get up early and get checked out before we left for the park.  It was a rainy and cold morning!!!  They ended up making it to the championship and then lost the championship game 1-2 against the same team they lost to in Kansas City, same score as well 1-2.

Maddie and Jack went with Grandma and Grandpa Farm after the game back to the lake, as we were headed there in just a few days for the 4th of July.  We needed to come home unpack, repack, and grab the dogs and Peyton's friends for the lake.  The day after we got home, I went into the garage to throw some trash away, and this was sitting in the trashcan.  We clearly don't like second place trophies.  Not sure if Jack or Mike did that, but somehow that's where it ended up.....
