Jack's first day at St. Peter Preschool

Jack's first day was today!  He was so excited.  He is in the 4 year old program at St. Peter, one floor below Peyton.  So the ultimate goal next week is for me to drop both of them off at the front door and Peyton can deliver Jack to his room before heading up to her room...how beautiful is that?!?!?  Especially with a newborn!

Jack was very excited to start today.  His teacher is Mimi O'Brian.  She seems to be wonderful and Jack seems to really like her so far.  We snapped some pictures and off he went with a big smile on his face. His only concern was why he didn't pack his lunchbox.  They don't start lunch bunch until next week....just trying to ease the kids in to things.  Jack didn't think that was necessary!

He came out with a big smile on his face too, so I'd say it was a success.  He said they played on the playground, there are two Colins in his class, he was the weather helper, they read a story about a mouse that was scared of everything, and they had goldfish for a snack.  How much of it is true???  I don't know, I'm assuming all of it.  Oh, and they prayed before their snack.....showing me, "Father, Son, Holy Spirit," while signing the cross.

Maddie and I enjoyed our short morning together.  We came home, drank coffee, had a photo shoot, had a feeding session, and then went for a walk.  It started POURING on us just as we got to the point in our walk that is the furthest away from our house.  DUH, why wouldn't it work out that way?!?!  I was soaked but Maddie was dry and she never knew it rained.  She was fast asleep and the canopy from her carseat, plus the canopy from the stroller covered her whole seat.  Perfect snoozing quarters for her, complete with the sound of the rain on her canopies!  She is one lucky girl!

So. Many. Pictures.

Do you think Peyton's gonna let there be a photo
shoot without a picture of her?!?!?  HA!

Enough pictures, MOOOOMMM!!!
