4th of July in Theodosia

We got lots of family time at the lake over the 4th.  Some of the Schuettes, some of the Meyers, all of the Friedmans (including Annie), and Grandpa and Grandma (Sadie and Ruby too).  Lots of tubing, skiing, kneeboarding, wake boarding, swimming, and RAIN!  We kept trying to talk the rain into going away one day, and the cloud just kept following us.  We gave up and just got in the water and hid behind rafts and mats.  The next day tho, there was no dodging it.  It was flat raining.  We took the kids (and Annie) to the beach area that day and they had fun.  Annie wasn't so sure tho.  She took off running after the kids and ran straight in the water, then rain straight out of it.  We could never really get her to "play" in the water.  She'd basically get her paws yet and then back out.  She just ran around the shore and played.  We got to see the Theodosia fireworks from the deck and it was a pretty decent show.  The kids enjoyed it.

Other highlights:
The mat got it's first tear
Maddie learned the "faster" sign on the tube and it's the only sign she used!!!  She's gonna be a thrill junkie.
Peyton has become afraid of skiing for some reason.
Jack by the end of the trip FINALLY did not require his goggles while in the lake.
