Well, Thanksgiving 2020 looked a bit different this year. My sisters and I decided we were too risky to be around Mom and Dad, so we cancelled ours and Jeanne cancelled hers too....so it was just us. The Riggios were not seeing their family either, so they hosted us. Was a very untraditional Thanksgiving, but a great one anyway!!!
The first half of the day we spent at home. Mike and I ran out that morning to grab the adds and we sat at our computers and got a jump on some Christmas shopping....that was fun. We had a hodgepodge of appetizers for brunch and lunch. Around 3:00 we headed over to the Riggios for a little afternoon swim (HA!.....why not, it's 2020!!!), Thanksgiving dinner, and a pingpong tournament. Peyton knocked out Jack in the semi finals, and it did NOT go over well!! It should have been Peyton and Mike in the finals, but Mike decided the pie was calling his name instead, and let Peyton win by default. HA!
It was a great day, and we are thankful not only for a great family, but great friends as well!!!
